The Victoria Police Service Medal is a distinguished award established to honour the sustained diligent and ethical service of both current and former employees of the Victoria Police Force. This esteemed medal is conferred upon those who have completed a minimum of 10 years of eligible service and is a recognition by the Chief Commissioner of the Victoria Police Force.
A minimum of 10 years of diligent and ethical service as an employee in the Victoria Police Force is required for the initial medal.
A clasp is awarded for each additional 5-year period of eligible service. The clasp indicates the total number of years of service and will be affixed to the existing medal.
If you order your Victoria Police Service Medal unmounted, the medal and ribbon will be supplied as separate components. Miniature medals will be supplied with 15cm of ribbon and full size medals will be supplied with 30cm of ribbon.
